Marilyn Markham Regnier, age 83, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2022.
She was born in Erie, PA on September 11, 1938 to the late Louis and Twila Horn Markham.
Marilyn graduated from Academy High School in 1956. Upon graduation, she entered the United States Air Force. She was stationed in Texas and Cheyenne, Wyoming. Following her service, she returned to Erie where she worked for 26 years in the banking industry. She retired from the Business Office of Girard School District after 9 years as the Payroll and Benefits Manager.
Marilyn was an active parishioner of St. Jude the Apostle Parish. Marilyn enjoyed playing golf, gardening, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends. She was an avid card player and participated in several regular weekly card clubs. Marilyn was a lifelong Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns fan. Her love of animals was reflected by her support of many animal causes.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Regnier and her two brothers, Lawrence Markham and James Markham, Sr., who died on January 13, 2022.
She is survived by her brother, Robert Markham (Patricia) of Erie and nieces and nephews, Anne Olon (John), James Markham, Jr. (Diane), Christopher Markham (Kimberly), Julie Markham (David Austin), Jana Sharrar, and Jessica Markham, as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at St. Jude Church 2801 W. 6th Street, Erie, PA 16505. The funeral mass will be live streamed at St. Jude the Apostle Parish You Tube page. or on https://www.stjudeapos.org.
