Marilyn Mccormick

Marilyn Marie McCormick, age 71, of Girard, passed away on Monday August 16, 2021 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born in Flint Michigan on December 8, 1949, a daughter to George Hoadley and Marie Arbuckle.

After graduating high school, she went on to earn a degree from the Detroit College of Business.  She was employed as a cab driver in Nashville Tennessee.  She enjoyed reading and spending time on the computer.  She loved to laugh and enjoyed life to the fullest and always managed to keep her husband in line.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her father and his wife Margaret, her mother, and her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Edward and three children: Michael, Tammy, and Cory; and a step daughter, Lisa. She is further survived by four grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are entrusted to Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, in Girard.
