Marilyn Herhold

Marilyn A. Herhold, 85, of Fairview, passed away Tuesday, November 26, 2013, at Pleasant Ridge Manor West. She was born in Erie, PA on April 4, 1928, the daughter of the late Bronson Irving Miller.

She graduated from Fairview High School and had worked for Marx Toys. Marilyn belonged to St. James Lutheran Church of Fairview. She and her husband worked on their family farm in Fairview Township for many years. Marilyn will be remembered for mowing the yard wearing her straw hat. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert C. Herhold in 2011. Marilyn is survived by her daughter Denise Anselment and her husband Dale of Franklin Center; son Ronald and his wife Robin of Girard; a sister Barbara Ralph and her husband William of Fairview; and a brother David Miller and his wife Judy of South Carolina; 4 grandchildren: Ryan, Darcie, Dawn and Erin; and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call Burton Funeral Home Girard, 525 Main St. East, Friday 2-4 and 6-8 PM. Services will be held at St. James Lutheran Church, 6851 Old Ridge Rd., Fairview, Saturday 10 am, with Brenda Martin officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery.
