Marie Rufini

     Marie A. Raymond Rufini, 85, of Erie, died Sat., Sept. 13, 2014 at her son's residence in Erie.  Formerly of Clayton Ave.  She was born Nov. 27, 1928 in Falconer, NY, daughter of the late Vincent and Grace Raimondo Raymond.  She graduated from Falconer High School, Falconer, NY, Class of 1946, and attended Jamestown Business College.  She was then employed at the Pentagon for a short time.  She moved to Erie in 1950 and worked for Erie Resistor and Fryling Mfg.  Mrs. Rufini was an avid reader, enjoyed watching golf, playing Bingo, cooking, going to the casino, and spending time with her family.
     She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Foy T. Rufini, in 1997; sister, Teresa Raymond Rufini; brother, Frank Raymond; nephew, Norman Raymond, Jr.; and niece, Judith Raymond.
     Survivors include two sons, Daniel V. Rufini and companion Paula Mahoney of Erie and Chick J. Rufini with whom she resided; two brothers, Anthony Raymond and Norman Raymond and wife Sheriann, both of Falconer, NY; six grandchildren, Jessica, Jaime, Samantha, Mario, Angelo, and Anthony Rufini, all of Erie; six great-grandchildren, Gianna George, Lauren Dever, Allie Dever, Audrianna Pacileo, Bryn Dever, and Levi Brown, all of Erie. 
     Friends may call at the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle St., Wednesday 4 to 7 p.m.  Private Burial will be at Laurel Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Kuvshinikov, Chaplain of Regional Home Health and Hospice, officiating.  Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
