Marie Lockett

Marie A. Lockett, age 82, of Rochester, NY passed away Monday, January 16, 2023 at Saint John’s Home. She was born in Erie, PA, October 12, 1940 to the late John and Dollister Sanders Bennett.

Marie loved puzzles, walking, going to the YMCA, and having lunch with friends. She always enjoyed spending time and gathering with family.

Marie leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Linda Rios, Larry Lockett, Cynthia Woods (Jonathan), Robert Lockett (Rita), Richard Lockett, Jeffery Lockett (Jeannie), and Rodney Lockett. She is further survived by 25 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and two sisters, Colleen Brown (Gary), and Shirley Johnson.

In addition to her parents, Marie is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lockett, and her siblings, Johnnie Mae Butts, and Elouise McKenney.

Friends are invited to call on the family Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Christian Ministries of the Apostolic Faith, 930 West 10^th Street, Erie, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 Noon. Arrangements are entrusted to Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown 602 West 10^th Street, Erie.
