Marian Sokolowski

Marian Troutman Sokolowski, age 71, of Erie, passed away on January 29, 2025 at UPMC Hamot, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 17, 1953, in Bradford, PA, to the late Guernie and Virginia Allen Troutman.

Marian worked as an LPN for UPMC Hamot Healthcare for 30 years. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandkids.

In addition to her parents, Marian is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Thomas C. Sokolowski; infant son, Thomas C. Sokolowski Jr.; brothers, John, David, Richard, Dennis and Joe Troutman; and sister, Jeanne Nelson.

Survivors include her son, Clint (Mary Frick) Sokolowski; grandchildren, Madelyn and Thomas; sister, Dawn (Gerry) Eisert; aunt, Sandy Grey; brother-in-law, Denny Nelson; sister-in-law, Mary, Dodi, and Joanne Troutman; and many other nieces, nephews and friends.
