After he returned from The War, they designed and built their life long home in Millcreek. Marian was employed by Loblaws Grocery Store as a cashier from the time she was a teen until after WWII. At age 55, she discovered that she was blessed with wonderful artistic talent when she tried her hand at china painting at The Mercy Center for Aging. Marian traveled around the country and the world, enjoying many adventures with her dear friends. She also enjoyed baking, camping and fishing in Canada with her family, and brewing her special raspberry “hooch” for family and friends. Spending time playing bingo and cards with her friends at GECAC Erie West Senior Center was very important to Marian. She enjoyed life to the fullest for 102 years.
