Maria Garnica

Maria M. Garnica, age 56 of Erie, died Tuesday, December 10 at Pleasant Ridge Manor East.

She was born in Utuado, Puerto Rico on July 30, 1957, a daughter of the late Guillermo and Mercedez Rodriguez Alicea.

Maria enjoyed ceramics, and especially crocheting.

Survivors include her husband Santiago Garnica; five sons: Angel DeJesus and his wife “Chery”, Jorge Lopez, Jose Lopez, Ricardo Lopez, Santiago Garnica, Jr., and Morris Seyler and his wife Stacey all of Erie; two daughters: Marisol Suarez and her husband Raul, and Crystal Lopez and Antonio Burgos both of Erie; 27 grandchildren and one great grandchild Mariano Flores; two brothers: William Rodriguez of Harborcreek and Manuel Rodriguez of Florida. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends also survive.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West 10th Street on Saturday, from 11:00 am till the time of service there at 1:00 pm. Burial at Erie Cemetery.
