Maria Ferraro

Maria C. Presogna Ferraro age 93, of Pleasant Ridge Manor, formerly Plum Street in Erie, passed away Sunday November 22, 2015.

Maria was born in Monternero, Italy on September 2, 1922 the daughter of the late Carmella Fabrizio and Guiseppe Presogna.

Maria enjoyed cooking and being with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Gilbert, Rudolph, Daniel and Rinaldo Presogna and three sisters, Diomira Presogna, Isabella Tornincasa and Ida Ciotti.

She is survived by two sons: Jesse J. Ferraro of Erie and Frank P Ferraro and his wife Debra of Waterford and one brother, Carmello Presogna of Erie. She is further survived by five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street, on Wednesday November 25, 2015, from 10 a.m. until 12:15p.m. Prayers will be at 12:15 p.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Peace Church, 2401 West 38th Street, at 1p.m. with Father David Rynd and Father Tom Suppa officiating.

Burial will follow at the Erie Country Memorial Gardens.
