Marguerite Pulliam

Marguerite Roberta Pulliam, age 77, of 2135 B Gladstone Ct. was called to her eternal rest on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Saint Vincent Health Center.

She was born in Erie, July 20, 1935, a daughter of the late Robert Lee and Mildred Spearman Pulliam.

She lived and worked in Erie all her life and in later years enjoyed painting as a hobby, watching westerns and shopping.

In addition to her parents, Marguerite was preceded in death by a son, Alvin, a sister Beatrice, a brother Leroy, and a sister Victoria.

She is survived by a daughter Sandra Pulliam Carson and her husband Larry of Erie, a son Stepfon Pulliam of Erie, three grandchildren, Shelley Pulliam and his wife Destiny of VA, along with Lynsie and Ashley Pulliam of Erie. Marguerite also leaves six great grandchildren and four brothers, Francis, Paul, Freddie, and Robert and his wife Jill and four sisters Maxine, Carlotta, Brenda, and Angie and her husband Buwlus Muhammad all of Erie along with a close dear friend, Miss Bertha Beard and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on Monday at the Burton Funeral and Crematory Inc., 602 West Tenth Street, Erie, PA 16502 from 10 am to 11am followed by a homegoing service from 11am to 12pm with Pastor Eugene Anthony of Mount Zion officiating.

Burial will be at Erie Cemetery.
