Margie Ruth Entley, age 78, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021, at UPMC Hamot.
She was born in Erie on February 25, 1942, the only child of Elbert J. and Elmerdeen E. Goss Entley.
Margie was active with many of the Barber National Institute programs and participated in the Special Olympics for many years. She had a fun-loving personality and was cherished by those that she encountered. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and caretakers, talking on the phone with her cousin Michelle, creating crafts and puzzles, and camping with her parents. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her cousin, Janice Moskel.
Survivors include several beloved cousins and dear friends and caretakers from the Barber National Institute.
Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc. Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Road, on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and are invited to funeral services immediately following officiated by the officiated by the Rev. Richard A. Moyer, Chaplain of Sarah Reed Senior Living.

Margie will be laid to rest privately with her parents in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
