Margaret Wolf

Margaret (Higgins) Wolf, age 70, of Erie passed away Sunday, August 18, 2024 at UPMC Hamot. She was born December 17, 1953 in Erie, the daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth (Spiegel) Higgins.

A lifelong resident of Erie, Margaret was a graduate of East High School and had worked as a press operator at the Lord Corp. She loved to follow the activities of her children and grandchildren, and loved the times spent with her best friends, Mary Jo and Linda.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Wolf; a sister, Kathleen Stablein; and a brother, Joseph Higgins.

Margaret is survived by her two sons, Christopher Herbst (Niny) of Newport News, VA. and Robert Jones (Adrien) of Durant, OK, and step-daughter, Angela (Wolf) Manson. She is also survived by a brother, Thomas Higgins of Erie and grandchildren Kaitlyn, Joshua, Kailey, Kaisey, CJ, Kaisity, Hannah, and Grayson.

There will be no visitation, and services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, 2500 W.12th St., Erie, PA 16505.
