Margaret Mccall

March 6, 1924 — January 25, 2018

Margaret (Maggie) Ruth Rudler McCall, age 93, of Girard, passed away Thursday, Jan 25, 2018, at Corry hospital.

She was born in Beaver Township, Crawford County, on March 6, 1924, a daughter of the late Lee H. Rudler and Sara M Klingensmith Rudler.

Maggie was a graduate of Rice Ave Union High School and held many jobs in her long life. She was a full time homemaker, worked at Halle's Department Store, clerked at the lake city grocery, ran the bowling alleys in Lake City and Girard, and was a secretary in Erie for a crane company. 

Her hobbies included crocheting, crossword puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, reading, and despite her advanced years, she always made time special for visiting family. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Emma Jean Rudler Sargent of Lake City (1981), her son, Donald R. "Randy" McCall II of Arizona (1996), and a granddaughter, Gypsy Lee Newbold of Arizona (2001).

Maggie is survived by 2 daughters, Sharon McCall of Indiana, Connie McCall of North Carolina, her niece, Nancy Donald (Larry) and their sons and families of Ontario, plus 8 grandchildren, Sara M Jukes of Corry, Pa, Jason Myers of Erie, Pa, Ronda Bowen of Virginia, Brad Cain of California, Amy Akers of Indiana, Teena LaPonsie of Indiana, Andy LaPonsie of Colorado, and Noah D. Newbold of Oregon, and also 22 great grandchildren with one more on the way. 

Burial will be at a later date in Beaver Center Cemetery.
