Margaret Jackson

Margaret M. Jackson, age 91, became an angel and went to heaven to be with her two George’s on Sunday, September 2, 2018 at her residence.

She was born March 21, 1927 in Erie, a daughter of the late Louis and Erma “Emma” Bolish Dovichow.

Margaret graduated from Strong Vincent High School. She was a homemaker most of her life and enjoyed baking, watching birds and tending to her flowers.

She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and aunt – she was loved by all.  Family meant the world to her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Elmer Jackson, her son, George Michael Jackson; her brother, Louis Dovishaw and sister, Dorothy Cambra.

Margaret is survived by three daughters: Beverly Strike and her husband Bill, Erma Schuster and her husband Ron, and Georgiann Lethbridge (Art Foy); grandchildren, Amy Garbaloff (Greg), Matthew Schuster and Jennifer Ruhl; great grandchildren, Lauryn, Madalyn and Megan Garbaloff and Elora Ruhl.  She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East on Thursday from 3 pm until the time of a prayer service at 6pm. with Rev. Thomas Tyler celebrant. Burial at Laurel Hill Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
