Margaret Leigh Hallgren

Margaret Leigh Hallgren, age 75, of Girard, passed away on Saturday November 9, 2024, at Walnut Creek Healthcare.

She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 25, 1948, a daughter of the late Macon and Betty Cover Jordan.

Margaret was a 1968 graduate of Friends Boarding School. She went on to earn her degrees at Ohio State University. She worked as a teacher in special education for over 50 years. She loved to paint and was an amazing artist. She also loved gardening and was a Master Gardener for Crawford County.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hans Kristopher Hallgren and her brother, Robert Macon Jordan.

She is survived by her sister, Patricia Wilson, and her nephew, Gregory S. Wilson.
