Margaret Carlson

Margaret C. Carlson, age 94, of Erie, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021 at Manchester Commons.

She was born in Wesleyville on July 30, 1926, a daughter of the late Frederick and Gladys Love Gohrs.

Margaret was a 1944 graduate of Academy High School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy Carlson in 2011; her first husband, Robert McClimans in 1978; a half-sister, Jane Gibson; a daughter and son in law, Carole and Edward Gould; two grandchildren, Katie Gould and Vincent McClimans and a step daughter, Royann Stachera.
She is survived by her children, Nancie Sherk and her husband Christian of Lititz, PA, Robert McClimans of Conroe, TX, Richard McClimans of Wattsburg, Michael McClimans and his wife Tami of Erie; stepdaughters, Dianna Carlson and Rhonda Carlson, both of Erie and Durinda Smith of Lake City and a sister-in-law, Bonnie Ford of Erie. She is further survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Private graveside service at Lakeside Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family with Reverend Matthew Judd of Glenwood United Methodist Church and Bernard Holewski co-officiating.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Manchester Commons for their outstanding care over the past nine years.
