Margaret Bules

Margaret “Peggy” D. Bules age 92, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Manchester Commons.
She was born on March 1, 1926 in Butler, PA a daughter of the late Howard R. and Miriam S. Dean.
Peggy was a 1943 graduate of Strong Vincent High School and graduated from Grove City College in 1947 with an Executive Secretarial degree.
She was an active member of Wayside Presbyterian Church and was a long time member of the sanctuary choir and the sanctuary bell choir. She also served as a deacon, a trustee and an elder at the church. Peggy loved music and was a frequent soloist throughout the Erie area for many years.
Peggy retired in 1988 from Eriez Magnetics as an Administrative Assistant of Pensions, Savings and Trust Plans. She had previously worked as a secretary in the Church of the Covenant office as well as Wayside Presbyterian Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, M. Paul Momeyer and her second husband, William S. Bules.
She is survived by seven children, Dean Momeyer, Marion Tucker (Tom), David Momeyer (Mary Alice), Peter Momeyer, Carol Bearce, Tom Momeyer (Leslie) and Polly Momeyer; four step children, William Bules (Chris), Janice Donaldson (Larry), Diane Sarsfield (Stephen), and Beverly McConnell (Bruce); and three sisters, Martha Painter, Flora Dean and Eleanor Haney. She is further survived by 22 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Wayside Presbyterian Church 1208 Asbury Road, Erie, PA 16505 on Saturday, April 21st from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service there at 11:00 a.m. Private burial will be held in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
