Margaret Ambrogio

Margaret Ambrogio, age 90, of Fairview, passed away Wednesday December 7, 2022 at her home.

She was born in Turtle Creek, Pennsylvania, on July 21, 1932, a daughter of the late Guerino and Anna Aiello Coniglio.

Margaret was a graduate of Turtle Creek High School.  She owned Ambrogio’s Restaurant and worked for the Fairview School District as manager of the cafeteria for many years.  She was a member of the Holy Cross Church. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crocheting and cooking, loved being outdoors, playing BINGO with her friends, and most of all loved being with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a son, Sebastian Ambrogio Jr.

She is survived by daughter, Liz Kachel and her husband Ernie of Lake City; granddaughter, Sara Grimshaw and her husband Brad of Lake City; niece, Patsy Lapping of Fairview; great niece and nephews, Tina Martinez, Michael Roland, Dr. Garrett Clark and Lucia Humes; great great nephews, Matthew Patten and Jordan Patten.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, in Girard on Friday from 4:00PM until 7:00 PM and attend a service there on Saturday at 10:00AM.  Burial will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105-3678 or a charity of one’s choice.
