Margaret Allard

Margaret Miczo Allard, age 91, of Millcreek, passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Fairview Manor. She was born in Mt. Jewett, PA on August 10, 1925 a daughter of the late Frank and Eva Ledney Miczo.

She worked at General Telephone Company for thirty-seven years retiring in 1982. Margaret was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Church and also belonged to the Presque Isle Pioneers and Bell Telephone Pioneers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander L. Allard; a daughter, Janice Ann Schuster; seven brothers, Charles, Peter, and Frank Metzo, John, Michael, George, and Alexander Miczo; and five sisters, Mary, Anna and Helen Miczo, Pauline Wilson, and Elizabeth Letkiewicz..

She is survived by two grandchildren: Erica Schuster and Emily Wexler and her husband Geoffrey; two great granddaughters Addison Drake and Jessa Wexler; a son-in-law Dr. James Schuster and his wife Robin, Robin’s daughters Kerry and Alexandra Galvin; a sister, Martha Leon and many nieces and nephews.

Services were private and held at the convenience of the family with burial in Laurel Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street.
