Marcus Teubner

Marcus "Mark" H. Teubner, age 89, of Erie, passed away on April 12, 2013 at UPMC Hamot.

He was born in Erie, PA on July 28, 1923 son of the late Frederick and Frances Honard Teubner.

Marcus was a graduate of Academy High School class of 1941. He served in the United States Army during World War II as a forward observer in the 87th Division, European Theatre of Operations. He was employed at Arthur F. Schultz Company for over 35 years and retired as manager of the Commercial Sales department.

Mark's greatest love was his family and he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He enjoyed making chocolates, woodworking, camping, traveling and especially loved spending time at Presque Isle State Park.

Survivors include his wife of over 66 years, Natalie; two daughters Kathy Niebauer and her husband Fred of Ohio and Linda Coates and her husband Dave of Texas, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Private services for the family were entrusted to Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street Erie, PA 16506.
