Marcius Jordan, Jr.

Marcius P. Jordan, Jr, age 79, of Girard, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at his residence. 

He was born in Corry on July 29, 1936 a son of the late Marcius P. Sr. and Edith Lawson Jordan. 

Marcius graduated from Albion High School.  He worked at Gunnison Brothers Tannery his whole life. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Marcius P. Jordan, III and his grandson, Marcius P. Jordan, IV. 

Marcius is survived by his wife of 59 years, Elsie Green Jordan; a daughter, Sylvia Jordan of Girard; a son, Charles Jordan and his wife Michell of KY; two sisters, Martha Renwick and Mary Jordan, both of Erie; and a brother Merl Jordan and his wife, Linda of GA.  He is further survived by thirteen grandchildren; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. 

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East in Girard on Tuesday from 6 p.m. until the time of the service at 7p.m.
