Lynnette Mae Teed

Lynnette Mae Teed age 76, of Erie, passed away on Friday, December 6, 2024, at LECOM Senior Living. 

She was born in Erie on January 18, 1948, a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Rowicki. 

She worked in the service and medical fields for many years, retiring from Blackburns Rehab Specialties. 

Lynnette enjoyed spending time with her family and her fur babies, going to the casino, watching Hallmark movies and shopping on QVC. Lynnette always made you feel like you were her favorite person in the world and will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband’s, Robert G. Teed and James R. Thorp; a sister, Linda Przewrocki; a grandson, James M. Rouleau, Jr.; and a son, James M. Thorp. 

She is survived by her longtime companion, Mark V. Shonka of Erie; and three daughters, Cynthia Thorp Wilczynski (Anthony) of Erie and Melissa Thorp (Michael) of Harborcreek and June Weaver (Wesley) of Georgia; brothers, Adam “Sonny” Rowicki (Diana) and Joseph “Joey” Przewrocki of Erie. She was a wonderful grandma and nana to Lindsey, Nicholas, Abigail, Juliana and Joseph Wilczynski and Jaymie and Erin Rouleau. 

Her family would like to extend their love and gratitude to all her caregivers at LECOM Senior Living Center especially Amanda and Annie (her favorites). 

Services will be private

A celebration of life will be held at a later time to be announced.
