Lynne Ann Olsovsky, age 58, of Millcreek, died Monday, May 27, 2013 following a brief illness.
She was born December 25, 1954 in Cherry Point, NC, daughter of Richard J. Olsovsky of Allentown, PA and the late Theresa (Cocca) Olsovsky.
Lynne attended Upper St. Clair High School in Pittsburgh and graduated from Edinboro University. She was Director of Quality Assurance for Erie Homes for Children and Adults and had previously worked at the Barber National Institute. She was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church.
Lynne was a very compassionate and giving person who had an unyielding dedication to her family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, camping and her pets.
In addition to her father, she is survived by three sisters, Karen Collins, Janet Peary and her boyfriend, Pat Campbell, Susan Silvaggio and her husband, Vincent, all of Pittsburgh; six nieces and nephews, Choate Collins, Christina (Robert) Dering, Maria Silvaggio, Alexzander Collins, Jordan Collins and Jace Dering. Lynne's loving friend, JaNess Engels also survives.
Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street (at Powell Ave.) on Wednesday from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm and are invited to a prayer service at the funeral home Thursday morning at 10:15, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church at 11:00 am.
A private burial in Pittsburgh, PA is planned.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
