Lynne Crane

Lynne A. Richards Shearer Crane, age 61, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital.

She was born in Erie on September 14, 1959, a daughter of the late Claude Lewis and Sandra Palmer Richards.

She graduated from East High School and went on to take classes at the Erie Business Center. Lynne worked at Patrick’s restaurant.

She was a servant of the Lord and dedicated her life to him. She was a very active member of her church, Praise Cathedral. Lynne went on many mission trips, to Haiti and Nicaragua. She was also active in Meals on Wheels. Lynne thought a lot of her family especially her three daughters and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by a brother, Jay Richards and his wife Nancy, John Szelencsik who she thought of as a brother, three daughters, Christina Foster, Jennifer Wiskeman and her husband Ted, and Amanda Shearer, Jen McGarvie, (who she thought of as an adopted daughter,) 15 grandchildren, Elizabeth, Sandee, Dustirose, Lailly, Teddy, Ethan, Amy, Skyler, Ladaya, Adriana, Alex, Riley, Makenna, Cole and Hunter, and three great-grandchildren, Liam, Jenevieve, and Elijah.

Friends may call at Praise Cathedral, 5335 Route 89, North East, PA on Thursday, August 5, 2021 from 12 until 3 p.m. and from 5 until the time of service there at 7 p.m. with Pastor Mike Grove officiating.

Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
