Lynette Edwards, 64, of Erie, Pa., passed away peacefully on Monday, June 14, 2021, at home from metastasized breast cancer. She was born the third of eight siblings to the late Burnam and Sara Helen (Mortimer) Potter on November 23, 1956. She graduated from Fort LeBeouf High School and worked in the food service industry for several years. She also spent some time overseeing bingo activities at Perry Highway.
Greeting her at the Heavenly Gates are her parents and siblings, Sharon and Charles.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Allan Edwards, to mourn her passing; a son, Timothy Edwards and daughter, Amy Edwards, both of Erie. She also leaves 4 sisters; Beverly (Mark) Roberts of Winston-Salem, NC, Deborah Potter and Lisa Mucheru, both of Erie and Lori Regal of Cochranton; a brother, Kenneth Potter from Winston-Salem, NC, four grandchildren, Sara, Tallan, Charlie and Sophie; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Friends are invited to visit on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Wintergreen 2532 Norcross Rd, Erie, PA 16510.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
