Lyle Fairchild

Lyle C. “Corky” Fairchild, age 81, of Fairview, passed away Tuesday August 26, 2014 at Pleasant Ridge Manor West.

He was born in Fairview on May 21, 1933, the son of the late Leon and Jeanette Fogelbach Fairchild.

After serving in the United States Army, Lyle was a heavy equipment operator. He was a member of the Fairview American Legion, V.F.W Post in Tidioute and the Corry Moose Club.

Lyle is survived by two daughters: Shelly Rossey and Lisa Steele and her husband Gary; a son, Jeff Fairchild and his wife Kim; Seven Grandchildren: Melissa Baker, Ashley Rekitt, Gregory Rekitt, Jr., Becca Fairchild, Shain Fairchild, John Cory Clinger and Jack Clinger; and five great grandchildren: Matthew Baker, Evan Baker, Brandon Rekitt, Jace Clinger and Hayden Jones. He is further survived by a brother, Gerald Fairchild.
