Lydia Wickles

Lydia A. Wickles, age 79, of Millcreek, died on Tuesday November 17, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born in Erie, PA on May 1, 1936, a daughter of the late Charles and Ida Reichert.

Lydia graduated from McDowell High School, class of 1955. She retired as the office manager at Hytech Industries and then as office manager at Ferrier’s Hardware for many years. She was always on the go and always working, especially in the garden. She loved holidays but most of all, she loved spending time with her granddaughters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard, her son Larry Wickles and a daughter-in-law Sandy.

She is survived by her son Martin Wickles; two granddaughters, Tiffany and Marty Jo Hurta; and her best friend Sandy Weber.
