Lucinda Ebbrecht

Lucinda “Cindy” S. Ebbrecht age 69 of Erie, died quietly at home after a long battle with cancer on Tuesday, September 16, 2014. She was born in Waynesburg, Pa. on September 23, 1944 a daughter of the late Wilbur and Vivian Coffman Fishack.

She graduated from high school in Waynesburg, Pa. and then earned a degree in sales and merchandizing from Marjorie Webster Junior College in Washington, DC. Cindy worked in sales for many years with JC Penny and the John V. Schultz Company.

She was a member of Erie First Assembly of God Church. Her strong faith in Jesus and devotion to her son, were the driving forces in her life. She also enjoyed horseback riding and travel, along with interior decorating.

In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by a daughter, Laura Day. Along with her son James R. Day, she leaves many friends especially Ed Cunningham a longtime family friend and caregiver to her son.

Friends may call at Burton Wintergreen Funeral Home, 2532 Norcross Rd., Erie, Pa. 16510 on Thursday from 11:00 am till the time of service there at noon with Pastor Jason Hotchkiss of Erie First Assembly of God officiating. Burial in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
