Lucille Mcaninch

Lucille F. McAninch, age 86, of Millcreek, passed away Friday February 8, 2013 at UPMC Hamot following a brief illness.

She was born in Madison Township, Armstrong County, PA on March 7, 1926 daughter of the late Roy W. and Iva H. Crissman Shreckengost. She was one of 15 children and attended school in Armstrong County.

Lucille was a homemaker all of her life. She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, doing puzzles and talking with her many sisters. Family was the most important thing in life to her.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Robert L. McAninch and her siblings Hazel DeSantis, Elnora Wagner, Dorothy Hawk, Alberta Hopper, and Boyd, Eugene and Reed Shreckengost.

She is survived by her daughter Lisa Soliwoda; grandchildren Stacey (Dave) Guianen and Joe Soliwoda; a great-granddaughter Angela McKinney and a son-in-law Joe Soliwoda.

She is further survived by her siblings; Dennis (Glenda) Shreckengost, Jim (Ruth) Shreckengost, Glenn (Joan) Shreckengost, Diane Shreckengost, Earlene Wolfgang, Ruth (Omer) George and Marge Grant, and many nieces and nephews.

Services were private at the convenience of the family and entrusted to Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street Erie, PA 16506.
