Lucille Long

Lucille Marie Long, age 79 of Erie, passed away Thursday January 19, 2017 at UPMC Hamot. She was born Erie on April 10, 1937, a daughter of the late Arthur and Silvia Dorson Dahn.

Lucille attended Academy High School and worked at General Electric and the VFW. She was an avid hunter and a “Jack of all trades.” She could put anything in a jar and could fix anything. More than anything, Lucille was a loving mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Merrill M. Long, her daughter Deborah Reynolds-Delp and her siblings Mary Margaret Housel and Dorson “Corky” Dahn.

Survivors include her children Carrie Hochberger, Laura Hanson, Kenneth Reynolds and Norma Kubeja, her siblings Elaine Grieshaber, Eleanor Sammons, Glenda Adams and Arthur ”Sonny” Dahn. She is further survived by eighteen grandchildren and many, many great grandchildren.
