Louise Korn

Louise Z. Korn, age 85, of Millcreek passed away at home on June 7, 2014. She was born in Meadville on August 30, 1928, to the late Francis and June Malliard.

After receiving her LPN license, she was employed by several nursing homes. She spent the majority of her nursing career at the Millcreek Community Hospital working in the nursery until her retirement. Upon retiring, she enjoyed sewing quilts, making beaded jewelry, painting ceramics and visiting with her children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. Korn, four brothers and three sisters.

Louise is lovingly remembered and survived by her children, Daniel Renick (Delores), Barbara Renick (David Seppala), Pamela Danylko, Joseph Korn (Sally) and Linda Papile (Louis). She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and three sisters, Virginia Dennis, Donna Adams (Will) and Bonnie Terry (Carl).

There will be no visitation. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
