Louis Brown

Louis F. Brown age 80, of Erie, passed away quietly at home on Monday, September 26, 2016. He was born in Erie, PA on September 25, 1936 a son of the late Louis and Elizabeth Bekloff Brown. Louis was a graduate of Academy High School and was self- employed in the transportation business with B and H Trucking for many years. He was an avid Browns fan and enjoyed NASCAR. His greatest love however was his family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Patricia “Patty” Wells in 2015. Along with his wife Rita (Magee) Brown, he is survived by six children and one son-in-law; Jeff wells along with Sharon Wells (Donald) of Erie, Judy Stanko (George) also of Erie, Diane Flinchbaugh (Brian) of York, PA, Bob Brown (Jill) of Erie, Bill Brown (Kim) of Erie and Christine Brown of Erie. Louis is further survived by 16 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Many good friends will also miss him. Friends may call at Burton Wintergreen Funeral Home, 2532 Norcross Rd., Erie, PA 16510 on Thursday from 2:00 pm till 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm till 8:00 pm and are invited to a funeral service there on Friday at 11:00 am with the Reverend Rick Cepris officiating.
