Lorraine Lucille Boncella

Lorraine Lucille (Benczkowski) Boncella, aged 87, died February 18, 2025, at Sarah Reed Living Center. She was the only child of the late John ("J.B.") and Wanda (Rutkowski) Benczkowski. 

Lorraine was a graduate of St. Ben's Academy, class of 1955. She worked in the office at both Haibach Brothers Meat Packing and Reliable Home Furnishings when she was younger, but most enjoyed being a homemaker for her family.

Lorraine loved to travel, shop, and collect crystal and cat memorabilia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of over 56 years, Casimer F. Boncella, Jr. 

Lorraine is survived by three sons: Anthony, Andrew (Janice) and John (Debbie); five grandchildren: Adam (Erica), Nicholas (Danielle), Mackenzie, Benjamin and Allison (Spencer); and five great-grandchildren: Addison, Grayson, Breck, Sofia and Cooper; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and family may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Road, Erie, PA on Sunday February 23, 2025 from 2:00 pm until time of sharing at 4:00 pm. Lorraine will be buried privately in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ANNA Shelter, 1555 East 10th St., Erie, PA.
