Lorna Barone

Lorna Goodman Barone, 89, of Erie, died on Thursday February 5, 2015 at UPMC Hamot. She was born in Erie on September 12, 1925 and daughter of the late Lloyd Goodman and Priscilla (Stone) Goodman Barone.

Lorna’s children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren were her world and she enjoyed spending time with them. She was a homemaker and loved to sew and bake as well.

Lorna is survived by her husband, Paul Barone of Erie; three daughters Sharon (Steve) Barrett, Bonnie (Jeff) Carlo, and Natalie Barone, all of Erie; four grandchildren Stephanie (Eric) Sontag, Erin Grady, Emily (Eric) Hubler, all of Erie, and Kara Barrett of Rocky River, OH; two great-grandchildren Hannah Sontag and Lily Grady, both of Erie; and her sister Linda Depew of Armona, CA.

Friends may call at the Burton West Lake Funeral Home, 3801 W 26th Street (at Powell Ave.) on Sunday from 1-4 p.m., and are invited to attend a funeral service there on Monday at 10:30 a.m. Burial immediately following at Laurel Hill cemetery.
