Loretta I. Kensill Lehman, 77, of West Springfield, Pa., died on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at UPMC Hamot. She was born on June 17, 1940, in Erie, Pa., daughter of the late Bernard W. and Caroline Elizabeth Fullerton Kensill. A 1958 graduate of Academy High School, she received child care training through Erie Infants Home, and worked as a child care technician at St. Vincent Health Center for ten years. She also worked for Moore Research. Loretta was a Cub Scout Den Mother, collected Care Bears, and enjoyed crossword puzzles, flower gardening, yard sales and thrifting. She also enjoyed cooking and baking, and was known for her homemade pies.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Arthur R. Lehman; three sons, Arthur Lehman of West Springfield, Stefan Lehman and wife Adelle of Millcreek Twp., Pa., and Alan Lehman and wife Allie of Cambridge Springs, Pa.; two sisters, Carol A. King and husband Donald and Kathryn A. Kensill, all of Erie; two brothers, William H. Kensill of North East, Pa. and Harvey V. Kensill and wife Evelyn of Erie; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle Street, Friday at 3 p.m. The Rev. Richard A. Moyer will officiate.
