Loreen Marie Coney-Soule

Loreen Marie Coney-Soule, a vibrant and loving spirit, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at her residence.She was born on December 17, 1961, in Liberty, New York to the late Lynn Lester and Joyce Marie (Vasko) Coney Sr.

A graduate of Monticello High School, Loreen went on to earn her associate’s degree in psychology from SUNY Sullivan. Loreen was known for her unforgettable gypsy soul, a heart that overflowed with kindness, and an unwavering commitment to those she loved. She was open-minded, non-judgmental, and always prioritized the well-being of those around her. Loreen had a passion for life that was best expressed through her love of tie-dye, her “happy place”. She cherished her family, and her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. Loreen was someone who could always be counted on—an open ear, a comforting voice, and a source of unwavering support. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving daughter, Danielle Soule-Long and siblings, Veronica DeSimone and Lynn Lester Coney Jr.

Loreen leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Trisha Vandermark (Thomas “TJ”); sisters, Deborah Rivera (Kenneth) and Juliann Maldonado (Franciso); grandchildren, Stephen Soule, Jordon Long, Zena Vandermark, Sean Long, Adam Vandermark and Emily Long and great grandchildren, Andrew and Sal. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends are invited to call at Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, on Sunday, March 30, 2025, from 2:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
