Lois Niedzelski

Lois C. Niedzielski, age 83, of Lake City, passed away Friday November 17, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born in Erie on April 24, 1934, daughter of Edward O. and Clara M. McKinney Wagner. She graduated from East High School, Class of 1952. She spent her life providing a home for her family and working on the family farm, especially mowing the lawns and vineyards. She was an Erie County Library volunteer and loved helping with the annual book sale. She also enjoyed assisting her daughter Dawn, making trips to recue animals.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Albert Niedzielski in 2015; three sisters, Dorothy, Kathrine and Shirley and a brother Edward.

Lois is survived by a daughter, Dawn Howard and her husband Tony of Lake City, and two sons, David Niedzielski and his wife Ann Connelly of Pratville, AL and Dale Niedzielski and his wife, Terri of Chardon, OH. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Stephen, Christopher, Erika, Skyler, and Christen Niedzielski and Andrew and Ashley Cline; as well as one great grandchild, Riley Niedzielski.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, in Girard, on Friday from 2:00 until the time of the service there at 5:00 pm in the Burton All Faith Chapel with Reverend Bill Miller officiating.

Burial will be private in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
