Lois Barricklow

Lois Yvonne (Riley) Barricklow, age 74, of Erie, died on Friday June 10, 2016. She was born on November 20, 1941 in Connellsville, PA, a daughter of the late Donald and Grace Leighty Riley.

Lois graduated from Uniontown High School in 1961. She was a cook at AMSCO for 27 years. She was a member of Glenwood United Methodist Church. She was a great baker, everyone enjoyed her cookies and candy. She enjoyed knitting Christmas stockings. But she will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her in-laws, Duane and Alice Ford, and her husband’s father Walter Lindsey Barricklow.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Donald R. Barricklow; two sons: Lindsey R. (Beth) Barricklow and Daniel B. (Karen) Barricklow, all of Erie; six grandchildren: Riley, Austin, and Chase Barricklow, Chad Siedler, Ashley Krahnke, and Justin Hall.; and one great granddaughter Emma Krahnke. She is further survived by a sister Donna Eperesi (Mike) of Freedom PA and many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends are invited to call on the family Sunday June 12th from 2-4pm and 6-9pm and on Monday June 13th from 1pm until the time of the service at 2pm with Rev. Matthew Judd presiding at the Burton Wintergreen Funeral Home, 2532 Norcross Rd. (across from Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery). Burial will follow the service at Erie County Memorial Gardens.
