Lisa Victor

Lisa Zurn Victor died in Erie with her family around her on August 7, 2016.

She was born September 3, 1958 in Erie, PA to Frank W. Zurn and Susan Frying Zurn (Hays).

She attended the Erie Day School, then went on to boarding school at Choate Rosemary Hall in Wallingford, CT. She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in psychology. She married Michael T. Victor in 1988. They had two children, Courtney and Sloane.

Lisa was an accomplished equestrian and enjoyed reading, playing tennis, and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughters, Courtney Victor Russ (Colin Russ) and Sloane Victor, and her two grandchildren, Reagan Russ and Sawyer Russ. She is also survived by her mother and stepfather, Susan and George Hays of Mentor, OH, and her father and stepmother, Frank and Jane Zurn of Erie, PA, as well as her siblings, Karen Zurn, Peter Zurn (Susan Zurn), and Heidi Williams (Gleck Williams) of Erie, and Doug Zurn (Kerry Zurn) of Marble Head, MA, and her step-siblings, Peter Berner-Hays (Amy Hays) of Seattle, WA, Carrie Hays (Bernie Peacock) of Yountvile, CA, and Will Hays of Port Clinton, OH.

Services were private at the family’s convenience.

Arrangements handled by Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West 10th Street.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
