Lisa Helen Baronner, age 64, passed away on Sunday December 29, 2024. She was born in Erie on August 25, 1960 to Marilyn and the late Samuel Garwig.
Lisa graduated from Harborcreek High School in 1978, went to Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and earned a Master’s Degree from the University of Pittsburgh. She worked as a career social worker, beginning at St. Vincent Health Center in the neonatal unit. Lisa spent the majority of her career at the Women’s Care Center where she served as adoption director for nearly 30 years.
Lisa was best known as a devoted christian, dedicated wife and mother, and loyal friend. Lisa’s selfless, giving heart was clearly evident in all she did. Lisa’s ministry efforts touched hundreds of lives through her selfless service as Adoption By Choice director, for nearly 3 decades. Lisa also served in music ministry through her involvement with the worship team at the Calvary Christian Center (C3 Church) in Harborcreek for many years. Lisa dedicated her life to blessing others above herself and poured herself into being a godly wife, mother, and grandmother (Gigi). Lisa loved to be active and enjoyed jogging, working out, and playing pickleball/tennis. Lisa loved cooking and music. She was a talented singer, musician, and artist. Lisa loved spending time with family and friends, especially during the holidays.
Lisa is survived by her husband of 38 years, Tim Baronner; 3 sons: Jeremy (Katrina), Joshua (Savanna) and Jonah; grandchildren, Liam and Bella. She is also survived by 2 sisters: Leslie Faipler (Dave) of Harborcreek and Mary Barnes (Jack) of Cranberry, PA; and 2 brothers: Gary Garwig (Lanay) of Rochester, NY and Darrel Garwig (Sharon) of Harborcreek. Lisa is further survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross rd., Erie, PA 16510 on Friday January 3 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm and are invited to a funeral service on Saturday at 11am at C3 Church, 1061 Bartlett rd., Harborcreek, PA 16421 officiated by Reverends Gregory Majchrzak and Mick McGinnis. Burial to follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
