Lindsay "Candy" Kennedy

Lindsay “Candy” Albright Kennedy, age 78, of Erie, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2024, just shy of her 79^th birthday.

She was born in Erie on January 18, 1945, a daughter to the late Eugene and Helene Davis Albright.

Candy graduated from Hempfield School District in Youngwood, PA. She then went on to attend Clarion University to obtain a 4 year degree in Library Science and Education and graduated in 1967. Candy was an avid reader, especially mysteries, always having a book in her hand.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Albright; as well as a sister, Shirley (James) Vaughn.

Candy is survived by her loving husband, Michael R. Kennedy; two sons, Matthew and Justin (Jennifer Rogala) Kennedy; two daughters; Erin Kennedy and Molly Elizabeth (Seth) Davies. She is further survived by two grandchildren, Evan (Marissa) Kennedy and Sarah Kennedy.

A mass in Candy’s memory with be held at St. Hedwigs church at a future time. Arrangements were entrusted to the Burton Quinn-Scott Funeral Home, West Ridge, 3801 West 26^th St., Erie.
