Linda Zeigler

Linda K. (Blair) Zeigler age 78, of Girard, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 22, 2016.

She was born in Uniontown, PA on September 16, 1938, a daughter of the late Gerald and Iona Barnhart Blair.

Linda attended Academy High School and then went on to work at Marxx Toys for over 30 years as an assembler and then in quality control.

She was a very active member at the Federated Church as a Sunday school Junior Superintendent and teacher and was a leader in Christian Endeavor. She was also active in the WLD Ranch Triple L. She was a member of the Ladies of the Golden Eagles.

Linda loved spending time with her family and always would do anything for them. Christmas was her absolute favorite holiday, and she loved the baking and cooking that accompanied the season. Additionally, Linda was also an avid and lifelong reader.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, infant Vickie Zeigler in 1976 and Brenda Wozniak in 1991; a brother, Jerry Blair and a sister, Florence (Blair) Zeigler.

She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Gilbert D. Zeigler; two sons, Gary Zeigler and his wife Gay of Waterford, and Robert Zeigler and his wife Monica of Lake City; a son in law, Felix Wozniak and his wife Shirley; six grandchildren, Felix “Buddy” Wozniak (Devyn), Tony Wozniak, Victor Zeigler, Greg Zeigler, Lisa Zeigler and Lee Zeigler all from Erie; three great grandchildren, Vincent, Isis, and Trevor; two brothers, Billy Blair and David Blair and his wife Becky; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. and are invited to attend a service on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Federated Church 11995 Main Street, E. Springfield, PA 16411. with Pastor Edward Huntley officiating. Private burial in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
