Linda Raimondi

Linda Louise Raimondi, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, age 75, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at Saint Vincent Hospital surrounded by family. She was born in Erie, January 24, 1946, to the late Melburn Young and Dorothy Puscher Young Heath. She married the late Charles Raimondi on July 18, 1964.

Linda graduated from Strong Vincent High School and was a certified project manager, working in various roles at Assembly Machines Incorporated for many years.

She was an amazing mother and friend to many. She is survived by her children, Denise (Michael) Zeurcher and Ron (Holly) Raimondi. She had a special bond with her grandchildren, who adored her, and was very active in their lives. She will be greatly missed by Zachery and Zoe Zeurcher and Nicholas, Charlie, and Ella Raimondi. Linda is also survived by her brother, Robert L. Young. She is further survived by close friends of 50 years, “the Foxes,” Rodell Ashby, Kathy Claunch, and Patty Sperry, as well as numerous additional family members and friends.

Linda was active her entire life and enjoyed golfing for many years as a member of Lawrence Park Golf Club. She loved to play bridge and was a master at it, having shared her passion and knowledge by teaching others to play. She was also a member of the Erie Yacht Club and a long-time member of the former Danish Club. Linda loved decorating her home and yard and hosting family and friends. Linda also enjoyed making special memories at the family cabin, laughing, and sharing stories. She was a wonderful cook and made holidays special for her family, especially Christmas.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Raimondi, her sister, Beverly Whitcher, and sister-in-law, Kathleen Young.

Friends are invited to call on the family Friday, May 28, 2021 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10^th Street, Erie. Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 9:00 a.m. at Saint Andrew Church, 1116 W 7^th St., Erie.
