Linda J. Murosky died on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 in Phoenix, AZ. Born in Erie, PA on July 12, 1952, a daughter of Bernard and Mildred Ohmer.
Linda graduated from Strong Vincent High School. She worked in the banking industry briefly before moving to Arizona in 1984 and raising a family. She returned to Erie last summer for six weeks catching up with family and friends. She took in the Erie scents of spring Lilacs and the fresh baking at Sontheimer Bakery.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her borthers-in-law, Jack Strobel and Greg Sinnott; her nephew Tim Sinnott, and her dear friend Pam Bach.
She is survived by her partner Donald Damler, Phoenix , AZ; a daughter Julie Ferguson, and her children Emily and Jacob Ferguson, Phoenix, AZ; two sons Steve Murosky, Phoenix, AZ and Michael Murosky and his wife Espy Murosky and their children Tyler and Alex Murosky, Phoenix, AZ; a brother, Richard Ohmer and his wife Gale, Vestal, NY; three sisters Mary Ann Sinnott, Norma Strobel, and Catherine Mullen, all of Erie, PA; and friend Kevin Bach. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews who live across the country.
Friends may call on the family on Sat. Dec. 13, from 10am until the time of the memorial service at 12 Noon at Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 W. 26th St., Erie, PA 16506. Inurnment in Calvary Cemetery.
