Linda Dougan Brogdon

Linda Dougan Brogdon, age 67, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at her residence, following a lengthy illness. She was born in Erie on September 14, 1947, daughter of the late Leonard and June Doyle Dougan.

Linda was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School. She loved dogs and was an AKC Certified Breeder of Boxers. She also raised and showed her own Boxers. Linda retired from Stairways where she was very passionate about her work as a Mental Health Counselor.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Dougan.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Colleen Martin and her husband Christopher, her son, Brian Brogdon, seven grandchildren, one great-grandchild, a sister, Diane Loomis and her husband, John and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West Tenth Street, on Friday from 4 pm until the time of service there at 7 p.m. with Deacon Richard Brogdon officiating.
