Linda Brooks (Adams)

Linda “Lee” M. Brooks (Adams), age 70, of Fairview, passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018 to go home and be with her Savior, surrounded by her family.

She was born on July 18, 1947 in Erie, to the late Laura J. and Woodrow L. Adams.

She graduated from Academy High School.

Linda worked for Ervite Corporation for many years, until going to Snap-Tite (Solenoid Solutions) until she retired in 2009.

She was a member of the Sterrettania Alliance Church in McKean, PA. She was also a member of Layman Ministries with her husband Henry, and close friends, Patti Wilder, Carolyn Crawford, and Jim and Karen Mallory.

Linda enjoyed hunting, writing poems, and was an avid NASCAR fan. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Henry Brooks; three brothers, Ronald Adams, David Adams, and Donald Adams; three sisters, Beverly Smith, Carol DeRooy and Nancy Adams; and a step grandson Daryl Nunemaker Jr.

She is survived by her brother, Daniel Adams and his wife Gina of Fort Worth, TX,; two daughters, Jodi Miller and her husband Glenn of East Springfield, PA and Laura Ahrens of Fairview, PA; one step-son Dennis Brooks and his wife Jennifer of Union City, PA; five grandchildren, Brittney Young and her husband Michael of Millcreek, Matthew Ahrens of Erie, Christina Derry and her husband Jeff of Millcreek, Adam Miller and his fiancé Erin of Ohio; Kara Miller of Florida. She is also survived by one step daughter, six step-grandchildren, six step-great grandchildren several nieces, nephews, and close friends.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W 26^th Street (at Powell Ave) on Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to attend services there on Friday at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Mark Droll officiating. Burial to follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
