Lillian Takach

Lillian E. Takach, age 73, passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at St. Vincent Health Center, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Erie on October 20, 1943, a daughter of the late Nellis Ploss and Ethel Thornton Brookhouser.

Lillian loved knitting, crocheting, quilting, baking and gardening. Her family was her priority, she loved spending time with them. She cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.

Lillian is survived by her husband of 56 years, John L. Takach; three sons, John, Michael and William and one daughter, Laurie; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She is survived by many brothers and sisters, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Services were private and held at the convenience of the family.
