Lillian Kennedy

Lillian Blackman Nemenz Kennedy, age 95 of Erie, passed away on Friday, July 28, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital.

She was born in Edmonton, Canada on February 5, 1928, a daughter of the late Helen and Michael Sereda.

Lillian came to Erie from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and was a hostess at the Erie Maennerchor Club for 48 years.

She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, O.E.S. Delta Chapter, Daughter of the Nile; was Past President of the Zukor Club Ladies Auxiliary, and was a life member of the Erie Maennerchor Club Ladies Auxiliary.

Survivors include her children Walter N. Blackman & his wife Cindy, Michael A. Blackman & his wife Pauline, Rick E. Nemenz, and Sandra L. Blackman; a brother Paul Sereda, two sisters: Josephine Mullan and Lucy Ackerman, and many grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, Inc., Downtown, 602 West 10^th Street, on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 from 11 a.m. until the time of service there at 1 p.m. with Reverend Jay Mitchell officiating.
