Lillian Detzel

Lillian “Olivia” Detzel age 95, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, September 1, 2022.

She was born in Erie on October 27, 1926 a daughter of the late Louis and Josephine Milesenna Caravaglia.

She attended Strong Vincent High School and went on to work as a beautician for many years.

Lillian enjoyed dancing, traveling, bocce, bowling and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald A. Detzel; her siblings and her companion Tarquinio Malatesta.

She is survived by two children, Gail (Dean) Lord and Donald Detzel; two grandchildren, Jamie Lord (Megan) and Josh Lord (Ashley); a brother Frank Caravaglia; 5 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a service on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel at Calvary Cemetery 3325 W. Lake Rd, Erie, PA 16505.

Arrangements are under the care of the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26^th Street, Erie, PA 16506.
