Leslie Bennett

Leslie B. Bennett, age 81, of Erie died at home, Tuesday, November 1, 2022. He was born in Erie, the son of the late LaVern and Katherine Burns Bennett.

Les started as a laborer at Niagara Plastics and excelled to foreman throughout his 35 years there; before retiring due to his health in 1997. He enjoyed watching football, going to the casino and betting on the horse races; but most of all he enjoyed playing poker with family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Les was preceded in death by his sister Iris Johnson.

He is survived by his wife Susan Krohe Bennett, and his two stepchildren, Michael Julius and his wife Jan, and Mary Ann Copeland. He is further survived by a sister Rose Richardson, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. Les is survived by his and Sue’s beloved lifelong friends, Ed Burnett and his fiancée Sharon Lawrence, and his beloved neighbors Aubrey, Emma, and Tammy.
